We recently broke ground on our latest project, Hypersilver. Built to commemorate our 25th Anniversary, this over-the-top Fox will be unveiled at the SEMA show this year, and will be unlike any other Mustang we've ever built. It started as a bare shell on a rotisserie, and we're going to bring you every step as it progresses.

When it comes to supercharged applications, smaller pulleys equal more boost, right? Well, not always. On most positive displacement supercharged applications, the restriction can be found before the supercharger--in the inlet (air intake, throttle body, and plenum). Whether it's a stock GT500 or an aftermarket bolt-on kit, pulleys can help make more boost, but only up until the inlet has reached its maximum flow capacity.

There's no arguing that the '11 5.0L GT is raising the eyebrows of even the most hardcore Mustang enthusiasts. With a 412hp rating, it's more powerful (as rated by Ford) and just as quick as a stock Terminator Cobra. The still-popular Terminator had a little help from an Eaton twin-screw supercharger, while the '11 GT is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0L Four-Valve powerplant.

The new 3.7L V6 Mustangs are already pretty quick out of the gate considering they lack the two extra cylinders like its high-performance sibling, the Mustang GT. These clutch sets can increase torque anywhere from 450 ft. lbs. to beyond 1200 ft. lbs.
