C&L 76mm MAF system 86 - 93 Mustang

C&L MAF and Inlet Pipe Assembly for 1989-1993 Mustang 5.0 and Mustang 5.0 Cobra. Dyno developed to maximize the performance on naturally aspirated 5.0L Mustang applications and 50 STATE LEGAL. The C&L inlet pipe come with a boss which can be drilled and tapped for use with a nitrous system. This system is designed to be used with the factory air box assembly. If you use a conical style filter with this system, the MAF transfer function will be leaner than with a high flow filter in the factory airbox.

 

Dyno testing and development have proven this package to be the hot item for those looking to maximize the performance on naturally aspirated 5.0L Mustang applications. Featuring the exclusive C&L intake pipe, the entire inlet tract from MAF to throttle body retains a full 76mm diameter throughout, unlike other designs that have proven to restrict airflow and hinder system performance. As an added bonus, the cast aluminum C&L pipe comes with a boss cast into it for those wanting to use nitrous oxide without damaging the stock rubber intake hose. Dyno testing on many different naturally aspirated 5.0 Mustangs with 19lb injectors and various levels of modifications has shown a typical power gain of 13-14 rear wheel horsepower and 17 ft/lbs of torque over the stock air meter assembly with the same K&N air filter (C.A.R.B.
