HoseLocks™ are billet aluminum compression fittings that replace conventional automotive hose clamps, dramatically improving engine compartment appearance and offering superior sealing performance
Designed to be used for fluid and vacuum systems, on rubber or steel braided line, HoseLocks™ are available polished or anodized in various colors and sized between 1/4 inch to 2 inches and metric, sizes 28mm-32mm.
The Spanner Series are available for your Vacuum Lines, Fuel Lines, Heater Hoses and Radiator Hoses in sizes ranging from 1/4" - 2". See below for information on sizes and measurements..
Pi-thon hoselocks are available in polished, clear annodized, red, blue, green, violet, gold, black and grey. The polished, red and blue are standard colors and normally ship within 24 hours, other colors are available as special order and may require up to two weeks lead time before shipping.
How to Measure to determine which size fitting is the right one for your application:
Fitting sizes are determined by both the Hose I.D. (Inside Diameter) and the Maximum Hose O.D. (Outside Diameter), measured with the hose over the barb. Push hose onto the barb and measure over the fattest point for your Maximum Hose O.D. Steel braided line O.D. varies by manufacturer so be sure to measure properly!
When you are measuring hoses for fitting sizes make sure the hose diameter falls between the minimum compression range figure and the maximum ODfigure for proper fit.
For example:
P/N 1A-04 Aluminum Spanner HoseLock, has a Minimum Compression Range listed at .446 and a Maximum Hose OD of .540. Your hose diameter (OD) must fall between these figures for a proper fit.
